CAMPUS MINISTRY
Campus ministry serves as the active arm of the theology department. The organization's goal is for students to not only learn about their faith but to live out this faith. Through a variety of activities, campus ministry works to provide a way for students to demonstrate their love of others and their love of God. Lowell Catholic encourages all students, including those from non-Catholic backgrounds, to participate in the campus ministry. Although all of what we do comes from our belief in Christ, most of what we do comes from our desire to help others.
WorshipMass is the center of our spiritual life at Lowell Catholic. Students participate in the planning and celebrating of each mass. Our students serve as lectors, alter servers, gift bearers and choir members. Students attend Mass about once a month as a school community, but there are also opportunities for smaller groups to attend Mass.
Every school day begins with prayer. In addition, all of our classes begin with prayer. As a Catholic school we attempt to incorporate God into all that we do. As a result, prayer plays a central role in all of our school activities.
