Lowell Catholic High School Media Center

Welcome to the LCHS' Media Center Homepage.  Our Media Centers offers students, faculty and staff a wide selection of current and historic resources, new and classic fiction, criticized and adored literature, plays and poetry, and a world of news, science and popular culture through our filtered Internet access.  The LCHS Media Center strives to create a safe, quiet and productive environment for the entire Lowell Catholic Community.

Hours of Operation

The LCHS Media Center is open to students, faculty and staff during the regular school year, Monday - Friday from 7:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.  Students are encouraged to utilize the Media Center during Study Halls, and must sign up with the Media Center Specialist in order to do so each morning by 8 o'clock.  Teachers may reserve the use of the Media Center and all Media Center resources (including computers) to accommodate their classes by signing up in the Media Center.

http://www.google.com - The number one Internet search company.  This is a great site to begin your navigation of the web.

http://www.findarticles.com - A search engine containing millions of published articles.  This site carries articles from everywhere, including trade and industry periodicals, science, health and literary journals, newspapers and even popular magazines.

Boston Public Library - Sign up for ecard.  Use electronic databases, including Psychinfo.
