The High School Placement test is an assessment test administered by Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Boston and the Diocese of Manchester, NH. The test is required as part of the admission process and the results also help determine scholarship awards to certain individuals.

The cost of the test is $30. The test can be taken at any school but it must be taken at the school at which you register for the test. The results from the test can be sent to up to FIVE schools within the Archdiocese of Boston. The results of the scores will be sent to the student directly as well as to the five schools he/she has indicated. The company that scores the test does not have the capability of sending the scores over state lines. See below to download forms for registration.

If you take the test at Lowell Catholic and wish the results to be sent to Bishop Guertin, you must indicate that at the time of registration for the test. You must also indicate on your application if you took the test at Bishop Guertin and wish Lowell Catholic to request your scores from Bishop Guertin.

Registrations will be accepted as long as there are spaces for the two exam dates. You may register by downloading the registration form below, contacting the LC Admission Office at 978-452-1794 X 22 or email admissions@lowellcatholic.org.

Each student will receive of copy of his/her results of the test, which will be sent to the student by the ETS company. These results will be sent out in early February by the testing service.
