TUITION 2010-2011 - $8,950
Tuition rates are determined annually by the board of trustees and charges are accessed to all enrolled students on a flat rate basis.

TUITION PAYMENTS
Financial obligations are incurred at the time of enrollment and a tuition payment plan must be determined upon receipt of the student’s registration to Lowell Catholic High School.  Lowell Catholic offers four convenient forms of tuition payment.

  1. Full tuition payment: Due July 1, a discount of $150, less registration deposit, is credited to your account
  2. Two tuition payments: 1/2 tuition each, July 1 and December 1
  3. Four tuition payments (quarterly): Due June 1September 1December 1 and March 1
  4. Eleven monthly automated payments: Billed June through April by FACTS Tuition Management Service; a payment date option of the 5th or 20th of each month

Tuition payments made directly to the school for tuition options 1, 2, or 3 should be made payable to Lowell Catholic High School by check, money order or cash.  Note your student’s name on all checks and money orders.

Monthly payments are not handled through LC.  Families who have opted to participate in Option 4, the eleven monthly payment plan, are agreeing to sign on with the FACTS Management Company and payments will automatically be deducted from your checking or savings account from June through April once enrolled in this plan. There is an annual enrollment fee.

Families who wish to have access to alternative financing options are encouraged to partner with independent financial institutions.  The school does not serve as a lending institution.  Benefits to families who wish to partner with an independent firm include providing school families the ability to finance all or part of their tuition through a loan agreement. Such agreements may allow for payments to be spread over 12, 24, 36, 48, or 60 months.

Implicit in the Lowell Catholic tuition policy is the provision that:

  • Full tuition payments must be received in the Finance Office by July 1.  Payments received after July 1 will forfeit the $150.00 pre-payment discount. Payments received after 1st of the month will be charged a late fee of $25.00.
  • Semi annual payments must be received in the Finance Office by July 1 (first payment) and December 1 (second payment).  Payments received after 1st of the month will be charged a late fee of $25.00.  The $25.00 late charge will continue to accrue monthly if the account remains outstanding.
  • Quarterly payments must be received in the Finance Office by June 1 (first payment), September 1 (second payment), December 1 (third payment), and March 1 (fourth payment).  Payments received after 1st of the month will be charged a late fee of $25.00.  The $25.00 late charge will continue to accrue monthly if the account remains outstanding.
  • A $25.00 service fee will be applied for any check returned for insufficient funds. Repayment must be either by certified check, treasury check, money order or cash.
  • If tuition is outstanding for two months the student will not be allowed to participate in school activities, athletics, complete course requirements, take mid-term or final exams.
  • After three months of delinquency, the parent/guardian will be asked to withdraw the student from Lowell Catholic.
  • If a student transfers from Lowell Catholic, the full monthly tuition will be charged for the most recent month where attendance has been recorded.
  • In order to have transcripts forwarded to another school, all financial obligations must be satisfied.
  • All tuition payments must be completed by April 20.
  • Financial accounts must be in good standing in order to participate in graduation and activities, receive a diploma, or have transcripts forwarded to colleges/universities.
  • If any financial problems or extenuating circumstances exist such that the parent/guardian is unable to make a tuition payment, the parent/guardian is urged and encouraged to contact the Fiance Office.
